63rd Republic Day

26 Jan 2012  The 63rd Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor and zeal on Thursday , 26-01-2012.Honourable Principal, Capt.(IN) Alokesh Sen hoisted the flag at 7.50 am in the Junior section playground and took the salute of the marching troops consisting of the three wings of N.C.C, Civil troops and Band. He in his address gave best wishes to the staff and students and urged all of us to dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly in which ever field we are in for the betterment and upliftment for our beloved motherland. Thereafter the children proceeded to the Birla School ground to take part in Republic Day celebrations which consisted of the marching, Band display, Yoga presentation, Mass P.T, Horse riding and finally various Jhankies from different schools based on the theme-“Promotion of Value Education”
