Science Week
2011-2012
The event was hosted from 06-09-11 to 10-09-11 in
all the three section of the BPS. The opening ceremony
was initiated by Honourable Principal Capt.(Retd.)
A.Sen with lightening of the lamp. The events which
initiated during the Science Week were Paper Reading,
Poster Making, Science Essay Writing Competition,
Science Quiz and Science movie. The motive of the
Science Week celebration was to rejuvenate the
importance of science among the students and to involve
them through participation. All the three sections of
the school participated in the event. Some of the events
where at Department level, a few at individual students
level and at House level also. All the Houses of the
three sections were involved. Maximum concentration was
involvement of as much students as it could be.
Honorouble Dr.L.M.Joshi, Chief Scientist, CEERI,
was the Chief Guest to the Closing Ceremony, who also
participated in making the event a success. The
Convener (Mr.Vivek Kumar) thanked the Guest for
sparing his valuable time to motivate the students and
asked the think tank (Students) to bud themselves as a
new generation scientist and to join hands with him (Dr.L.M.Joshi)
and serve the Nation for a greater cause above personal
benefits.
The entire Science Week Event 2011-2012 was as Grand
Success and the credit goes to all the persons who are
directly or indirectly related to the BPS family.
